Grow Do It delivers practical skills to support organic food production, organics recycling and nutrition via an engaging, dynamic and unforgettable blend of music and fun ‘in-garden’ activities. Grow Do It uses a combination of practical workshops and innovative “ecotainment” primarily tailored to suit schools and young people in both urban and rural/remote areas. Through activities, music and games, students gain a richer understanding of the importance of healthy food, how to grow it and how to go complete the nutrient cycle through organics recycling. Grow Do It is available to visit schools for full or half-days to deliver any of the following activities; worm farming and maintenance, composting, building soil nutrition, no dig gardening, food-forest and permaculture garden design, perennial and annual planting, and more. To get everyone involved Grow Do It will also provide a musical concert for the whole community featuring their very own internationally renowned Formidable Vegetable Sound System.
